Overview

Virginia Tech's Northern Virginia Center in Fairfax county provides opportunities for career advancement through its degree programs in Computer Science and Applications. We offer convenient and flexible programs for working professionals with evening classes that meet once a week. You have the flexibility of taking as few as one class or as many as four classes every semester. The Department of Computer Science in Fairfax county currently graduates about 10 MS/PhD students per year. More than 600 students have earned their masters degrees in Computer Science and Applications, masters degrees in Information Systems (terminted in 2002), and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Applications since the program's inception in 1975.
