Help for Searching DB2 Information

Search Tips

If you know some words that may appear in the topics you want, just type them all into the search field in any order:

If you know exact phrases that appear in the topics you want, get more precise results by enclosing the phrases within quotation marks:

If some keywords are very important to the search, and other keywords might or might not be in the topics you want, precede the important ones with a plus sign:

If you do a search and receive a lot of matches that you do not want, try and find words that are in these unwanted topics and include them as search words, preceded by minus signs.

If you want to look up information about a statement or command in the SQL Reference or Command Reference, include one of the subheadings as a search term:
