Whether your career path takes you to academia or to industry, what’s the secret sauce in being successful? Join Edmond Joe as he shares his insights and his stories of life after finishing graduate school. Like the movie Forest Gump, sometime life takes you down a path you never expect.

Speaker's Biography

Edmond Joe is a Senior Program Manager for GreenZone Solutions where he serves as a project manager at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. At the USPTO, Edmond successfully leads multiple high visibility high priority IT projects to successful completion. His projects prior to joining GreenZone Solutions include engineering the World’s first high powered laser to go in Space (STS-64) for NASA, creation of the automation software that saves $10 million dollars annually for Verizon, conversion to Gmail for the United States Department of Interior. At GreenZone Solutions, his projects included the implementation of the Hague Agreement at the USPTO. Edmond has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
