to any other address may significantly delay processing.
The school code
for GRE and TOEFL
scores is 5859. To expedite your application, fax your official scores
to the Graduate Admissions Office in Falls Church at (703) 538-8305. Please
write "For Evaluation Purposes Only" on the fax. Faxing scores
does not replace official scores sent from ETS.
It is the applicant's
responsibility to gather the required documents. In cases where an institution's
policy is against providing students with official transcripts, please
request that transcripts be sent directly to the Graduate Admissions Office
at the above address.

LIST FOR COMPLETING APPLICATION |
1. Enclose completed
application with $45 fee. Make the check payable to: Treasurer, Virginia
Tech.
2. Enclose in sealed envelopes two official transcripts for all degrees
received, bachelor's, master's and/or Ph.D.'s from the registrar of each
school.
3. Enclose in three sealed envelopes letters of reference from individuals
familiar with your academic and/or professional background.
4. Request GRE and/or TOEFL
scores to be sent directly to the Graduate School from
ETS (GRE scores within 5 years are acceptable).
5. Enclose an application for Virginia in-state tuition rates if you are
eligible.
International students must fill out an international student form stating
the type of visa they are holding, i.e., F-1, F-2, J-1, H-4, etc.
Spring Semester
International Applicants: October 15th. Domestic Applicants: December 1st.
Fall Semester
International Applicants: April 15th. Domestic Applicants: July 1st.
